"
I have been playing RPGs my whole life, specifically JRPGs. I started with Final Fantasy and Phantasy Star 3 and those two games hooked me on the genre. Over the past few years JRPGs have been a little hit and VERY miss. A few good titles on the Wii come to mind, but other than that it was pretty bad out there. This year changed all that when Ni No Kuni came out on the Playstation 3. I had hope for the genre again and soon purchased the new Fire Emblem and Etrian Odyssey. They were both fine editions into the genre. Were they coming back? I had hoped so and possibly hyped myself up too much for the next JRPG I would play which was Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory. What a mouthful!" -RoboAwesome.com

Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory is a complete failure of a game that manages to be unappealing across every level.

"Over the years NISA has published some interesting RPGs, but only a few of them were really successful. Among this list is Neptunia, which is an RPG about the game industry and really games in general. Naturally this spoke to a lot of people and the original game became quite the collectible. Shortly after the sequel, Neptunia MK II released with even more buzz than the original. Now that the third title in the series, Neptunia Victory is out in the US, will it remain a success or has the concept played out?" - JPS

Those lovable, wacky CPUs are finally back with a new adventure. Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory is a new chapter in this zany and very unpredictable role-playing game. Much like the previous releases, Hyperdimension Neptunia: Victorys story picks up where the last game left off.
All of your favorite CPUs return in Victory. Thats right, you read it correctly. This means Neptune, Nepgear, Vert, Noire, Uni and the rest of the famous CPUs are back. Unlike other role-playing games that completely change the games main cast, Hyperdimension Neptunia does not.
The main character, Neptune, gets sent back in time to the year 1989 where no one remembers her. All the other CPUs are still present in the world of Planptune, but they are much younger and some havent become CPUs yet. This is the strangest story yet. Without spoiling too much of the story, all I have to say is that you better get used to retro gaming.
